A 200-year old American Beech tree that grows in the Lullwater Conservation Garden has won first place out of a field of eight in Trees Atlanta’s March Madness Tournament. The tree is 121.7 feet tall with a circumference of 12.4 feet. It will be honored on May 7 at the Root Ball. The tree itself will not be able to attend the ball, but Druid Hills residents are welcome. Trees Atlanta deserves our support.
